Accessibility Statement

Draft for review — not a live legal notice yet.

This page is a working template. The highlighted items below still need to be filled in, and a lawyer must sign off before it goes live. Each highlight is colour-coded by who handles it:

  • You provide — a detail only you know (an address, an email, a date).
  • Web team — a technical item the WellPeps web team completes. Nothing for you to do.
  • Lawyer — a wording or legal decision for your attorney.
What we need from you on this page

Just these items — everything else is handled by the web team or your lawyer:

  • The date this statement is first published (your launch date).
  • A dedicated email address for accessibility questions (we recommend [email protected] — you decide if it should forward to an inbox you already check).
  • A mailing address where formal written accessibility requests should go.
  • How quickly you commit to acknowledging feedback (e.g. 3 business days) and proposing a fix or workaround (e.g. 10 business days).
  • Who a complaint escalates to internally if the person is not satisfied — a name or a title (e.g. "Head of Operations").
  • Confirmation that a customer really can do everything by phone — sign up, order, and manage their account — since the statement promises that as the accessible alternative.
Before this page can go live

An accessibility statement is a promise, so it has to be backed by a check of the site. The WellPeps web team will run that check (an accessibility audit) and fill in the technical parts below. The blue items are theirs — not something you need to answer.

Statement Date: You provide: the date this goes live
Last Reviewed: You provide: same as the date above for the first version

1. Our Commitment

WellPeps is committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to telehealth information and care should not depend on ability, and we work to provide an experience that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all visitors.

2. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are the recognized standard for making websites usable by people with disabilities. Sites are measured against three levels: A, AA, and AAA.

Web team: pick the correct sentence below after the audit — never publish the stronger claim without evidence to back it.

  • Option A (only if a completed audit supports it): “This website is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.”
  • Option B (the honest default for most sites at launch): “This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning some parts of the content do not yet fully conform. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.”

3. Measures We Take

WellPeps takes the following measures to support accessibility. Web team: keep only the lines that are actually true — each one is a factual claim the company is making.

  • Include accessibility in our design and development standards for all new pages;
  • Test with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader review. Web team: name the tools and screen readers actually used (e.g. axe, Lighthouse; NVDA, VoiceOver).
  • Maintain semantic HTML, sufficient color contrast, visible focus states, and support for reduced-motion preferences;
  • Train our design and engineering team on accessible development practices. Web team: confirm this is true, or remove the line.

4. Compatibility

This website is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers and screen-magnification software, on desktop and mobile.

5. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Web team: list any known issues found in the audit, each with a target fix date. If the audit finds none, write “No known limitations at this time.”

6. Alternative Access

If any part of this website is difficult to use, you can complete every step of the WellPeps process — including consultations, ordering, and account changes — by phone with our support team at (833) 935-7377 (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm ET). You confirm: that phone support really can handle the whole journey, from signup to refill. If any step is web-only, tell us and we'll soften this sentence.

7. Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us:

  • Email: You provide: a monitored accessibility email address
  • Phone: (833) 935-7377
  • Mail: You provide: a mailing address for written requests

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within You provide: e.g. 3 business days and to propose a resolution or accessible alternative within You provide: e.g. 10 business days. This statement is reviewed and updated You provide: how often — yearly at minimum, and after any major redesign.

8. Enforcement and Formal Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your concern to You provide: who this goes to internally — a name or job title. U.S. users may also contact the U.S. Department of Justice regarding ADA concerns. Lawyer: confirm whether to keep the Department of Justice reference — included here as the transparent default.
